Our Venue

We would like to thank our amazing hosts, Estudios Churubusco.

For Estudios Churubusco, a meeting point for the film community, it is essential to create a space for a new era of cinema that is representative of the diverse society in which we live.
Estudios Churubusco has been the lifeblood of much of Mexico’s and the world’s cinema, and as such, it stands as a symbol and symbol of the history of Mexican cinema. Some of the most important figures have worked within its facilities since its founding. Covering an area of 160,000 square meters, construction began on the first film studios in Latin America, which would later be known as Estudios Churubusco.
In 2017, Estudios Churubusco celebrated its 72nd anniversary by presenting the “Dream Factory” exhibition to the public to commemorate the creation of the largest film studios in Latin America and its history in world cinema. As a tribute to the women who contributed their talents to the history of cinema in Mexico, Churubusco Studios names its venues after some of the most prominent pioneers of cinema. It is estimated that 95% of the films produced in Mexico since 2000 have used many of the services the studio provides.
Among the films shot at the Estudios Churubusco were the James Bond film Licence to Kill , Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Total Recall, Amores perros, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, and Frida.
